Small Steps Day Nursery is located at Southend Leisure & Tennis Centre, set back from the main road with ample free parking available offering safe drop off and pick-ups for your children. In this location the Nursery has access to fantastic outdoor play and nature walk opportunities. We are less than 10 minutes drive from Southend town centre and both major railway lines into London, which offers excellent options to both commuters and local workers, however we are still far enough away from the hustle and bustle of busy side streets and town centre locations. With good local bus services directly to the front doors Small Steps is the ideal Nursery for you….

Our settings offer impressive, spacious and bright purpose built childcare facilities within two of Southend’s popular Leisure Centres offering parents the opportunity to benefit from a wide range of activities under one roof. Including access to Chameleon Health & Fitness, Cappuccino Bar, Exercise Classes, Indoor and Outdoor Tennis, Athletics Track, Health Suite as well as many more indoor sporting activities.

The facilities has a large selection of age specific children’s toys, activities and educational games including Musical instruments, Computers, messy play area, book corner and much more to ensure your children engages in their play to encourage awareness and development. Our baby room at Smalls Day Nursery at Southend Leisure & tennis Centre offers excellent supervision, diffused lighting, neutral colours and is a segregated room ensuring peaceful sleeping and rest time for the younger children and babies. The Nursery also has a purpose built soft play area offering excellent physical play opportunities with panoramic views of the local countryside at the same time.
